Ever gotten hurt or sick and not know why??
I think we have all been there and it is definitely not a fun time. I once got sick out of nowhere, I had been eating healthy and exercising and getting enough sleep but still got sick. How in the world did this happen if I was doing all the right thing?
During my mid-teens I would find bruises on my legs and arms and not know how or why that happened. This was very frustrating, not because they hurt but because I had no idea what caused it. The unknown is a very scary thing. I thought I started sleep walking and banged myself up.
Knowing what I do now, I am definitely more aware of what I am doing and if I get a bruise or hurt myself, I know when and where and why it happened. Self awareness is a big component in treating pain and disease. If you are not aware of the cause of what happened, then you will have no idea why you have pain and just have to deal or create more compensation which leads to more pain elsewhere. So by being more aware about what is going on around you and what is going on with your body is key to helping you deal with pain and disease.
One of the main reasons why I do a lot of research in the health and wellness industry, is because many of my clients are not aware of what happened and because I wanted to be able to help people understand how to find the main causes of disease, injury, and pain. There are so many modalities and protocols out there that deal with all of these components.
Here are few so that you can do your own research:
Neurolink- NIS(Neurological Integrative System)
Propioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex
Muscle Activation Techniques
ACMOS- Bioenergetics
Strain-Counterstrain
Acupuncture
While doing all of this research, I have found that they all work with different systems of the body. Looking at the body as a whole is very important when treating a patient because there is not always just one problem. When we get injured or sick, this causes one system to fail or not work properly, causing other systems having to work harder than they normally do. Then if the other system is overworked, then they start to fail or not work properly. So there is a snowball effect when there is serious trauma to the body.
The different systems of the body are: Nervous System (Brain), Cardiovascular System (Heart), Lymphatic System(Immunity), Muscular System, Endocrine System(Hormones), Respiratory System(Lungs), Digestive System, Urinary System, and Reproductive System.
Making sure that all systems are working together in harmony is one of the best things you can do for the body. By controlling these aspects of the body and working on the parts that are not working properly is key for longevity and quality of life
If you have more questions about these protocols or even about the different systems of the body.
Subscribe to my email list and you will receive emails about the different protocols and education on the different systems so you have an overall idea about what is going on with your own body.
Thank you and remember to control the basics!
